Friends and Colleagues,

 

I would like to bring to your attention ICANN’s’ “NextGen at ICANN” Program.
This program is tailored to youth between the ages of 18-30 years. It
assists this age group in better understanding how the Internet runs, gives
them the chance to make their voice heard within the global Internet
community, and gives them the opportunity to connect with a robust global
Internet community.

 

This program is expected to run during each and every ICANN meeting.
Nevertheless, this specific call (this email) is for the ICANN Marrakech
Meeting number 52 during February 8-12, 2015.

 

Conditions to Apply

 

1.       Living / studying in the Arab region, West Asia, or Africa;

2.       Must be between the ages of 18 and 30;

3.       Able to spend an entire week participating in the ICANN meeting;

4.       Interested in Internet Governance, the future of the Internet, and
other topics covered at the ICANN meeting; and

5.       Willing to present a 10-15 minute project at the meeting. This
could be a presentation of research you've done, an activity you're doing
related to ICANN's work, a website you're affiliated with that is related to
ICANN's work, a thesis project you're working on, etc. This presentation
will be attended by ICANN community members, ICANN staff, as well as your
NextGen peers.

Please note that the program is expected to be very competitive. If
accepted, ICANN will cover your travel expenses in terms of airfare and

الأخوات والأخوة الزملاء،

 

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

 

أود أو أضع بين أيديكم مبادرة هيئة الأيكان بعنوان "الجيل القادم في الأيكان".
هذا البرنامج مخصص لفئة الشباب من 18-30 سنة. يهدف هذا البرنامج الى مد يد
العون لهذه الفئة العمرية في فهم كيفية إدارة الإنترنت، وتمنحهم الفرصة لجعل
أصواتهم مسموعة من قبل مجتمع الإنترنت الدولي، وتمنحهم الفرصة للتواصل والتعرف
على مجتمع الإنترنت الدولي القوي.

 

هذا البرنامج من المتوقع أن يُعقد خلال كل إجتماع أيكان. وهذه الرسالة
الإلكترونية هي مخصصة لإجتماع الأيكان رقم 52 في مراكش خلال شباط فبراير 8-12،
2015.

 

شروط التقدم

 

1.      العيش / الدراسة في المنطقة العربية أو أسيا الغربية أو إفريقيا؛

2.      وأن يكون من الفئة العمرية من 18-30 سنة؛

3.      والمقدرة على قضاء أسبوع كامل لحضور إجتماعات خلال أسبوع الأيكان؛

4.      ومهتم بقضايا حوكمة الإنترنت، ومستقبل الإنترنت، ومواضيع أخرى يتم
تغطيتها خلال إجتماعات الأيكان؛

5.      والرغبة في تقديم عرض مدته 10-15 دقيقية. هذا العرض من الممكن أن يكون
عن بحث قمت به، أو مبادرة مرتبطة بعمل الأيكان تعمل عليها، أو موقع إلكتروني
أنت منتسب إليه مرتبط بعمل الأيكان، أو أطروحة تعمل عليها، ألخ. هذا العرض سيتم
حضوره من قبل أعضاء مجتمع الأيكان، وموظفي الأيكان، والزملاء الأخرين الحاضرين
لهذا البرنامج.

التوفيق في الحصول على منحة، ستقوم هيئة الأيكان بتغطية مصاريف السفر والإقامة.

 

كما ويرجى نشر هذا الإعلان لمجتمع الإنترنت المحلي الذي تعرفه، إضافةً الى
معارفك.
