[menog] Updates on the IANA Stewardship Transition and ICANN's Accountability Processes

Friends and Colleagues,

 

As part of our regular updates to the regional community on the IANA
Stewardship Transition and ICANN's Accountability Processes, here are a
couple of updates.

 

In an update on the need for more coordination amongst community members
involved in either the IANA Stewardship Transition, or ICANN's
Accountability Processes, or both, Theresa Swinehart summarizes how this
will be handled in a new blog post at

on-facilitation-calls. Of note in this post is the timeline diagram
embedded.

 

The Cross Community Working Group on Enhancing ICANN Accountability met
face-to-face in Paris, France on July 17-18, and they issued a Communiqué of
their meetings and deliberations which you can find at

Another Update on IANA Stewardship Discussions is summarized in another blog

Finally, ICG will be hosting two webinars regarding the transition proposal
on Thursday 6 August, 19:00-20:30 UTC and Friday 7 August, 11:00-12:30 UTC.
