Considering the request from researchers and authors, the deadline to submit
the research paper to ICBDSC 2016 (International Conference on Big Data
Smart City) has been extended to January 9, 2016 (firm deadline).

We take great pleasure in inviting you to the 'International Conference on
Big Data and Smart City (ICBDSC) - 2016', on 15 and 16   March, 2016
organized by Middle East College, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The conference
is technically co-sponsored by IEEE. As you might be aware, our past
conferences: International Conference on Applied Information and
Communication Technology  in 2011 and 2014  were well received. The next
step forward is our third international conference.

ICBDSC-2016 will bring together researchers, designers, developers and
practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of
smart cities, green information and communication technologies,
sustainability, energy aware systems and technologies to realize smart
communities of the future. International experts have been invited to
deliver keynote addresses and share their rich experiences. Papers reporting
on new research and new products or concepts are encouraged.

The theme of the conference is "Big Data and Smart City".
