Please save the date for the Internet Society Middle East Bureau's upcoming
community networking event alongside the ICANN 60 meeting in Abu Dhabi,
UAE.

*When: *Sunday, 29 October

*Time:* 17:00 – 19:00 (local time)

*Where: *Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), Capital Suite 19

This will be on occasion to meet your fellow colleagues and Internet
Society Board of Trustee members around snacks and refreshments.

During the event, you will also be able to witness the launch of the
“Digital Opportunities for the Middle East” booklet. This booklet is the
product of a collaborative effort between many stakeholders,
technical experts, and Internet Society Chapter members from the region.
Using research created by the Internet Society, ESCWA, and Wamda, the
booklet shows what positive and practical steps can be taken to
increase the digital opportunities in the Middle East and spread its
benefits to all of society.

Formal invitations and information concerning registration will be shared
as we get closer to the event. For the time being, please mark your
calendars if you plan to be in Abu Dhabi on the above date.
