Dear MENOG Community,

To allow for easier checking for your network’s conformance with best
practices in routing security, we are organising a virtual clinic to check
your network MANRS. The clinic is available to all network operators
running BGP with focus on operators in the MENA region. The appointments
are free, and at the end you will get a short report of your network’s
position from our MANRS Observatory. Book your appointment here:

Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) is a global initiative,
supported by the Internet Society, that provides crucial fixes to reduce
the most common routing threats. MANRS requires collaboration among
participants and shared responsibility for the global Internet routing
system. It does this by encouraging those running BGP to implement
well-established industry best practices and technological solutions that
can address the most common threats.

Joining MANRS means joining a community of security-minded organizations
committed to making the global routing infrastructure more robust and
secure. To join MANRS, you, or your company, should support the MANRS
Principles and implement at least the mandatory actions of the following
four actions set for network operators:

   - Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information.
   (Mandatory)
   - Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses – Filtering
   (Recommended)
   - Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination
   (Mandatory)
   - Action 4: Facilitate routing information on a global scale – (IRR
   Mandatory, RPKI Recommended)

This clinic will give an overview of your network’s conformance with these
actions. More details on the joining requirements can be found here:
