Dear Colleague,
The MENOG Programme Committee (PC) is getting ready to start working on
the programme for the MENOG 24 Plenary. MENOG 24 will take place in
Muscat, Oman on 1-5 December 2024
https://www.menog.org/meetings/menog-24/
The PC attracts a strong team of industry experts with diverse regional
and international experience, and we are looking for members of the
community in the region to join us and help develop the plenary
programme for MENOG 24.
What is expected from a PC member?
----------------------------------
- To actively participate in developing the programme of the MENOG
plenary. This requires active participation in the PC activities
(teleconferences, on-site meetings, reviews, etc.) and working on
reaching consensus on decision points.
- To actively seek content that is relevant and interesting to the
MENOG community. This includes reaching out to presenters of
interesting talks, people involved in projects, research or other
activities that will be of interest to the network operations
community.
- To stay aware of the topics that address the needs and interests of
the MENOG community. This requires good knowledge of relevant
regional and/or international issues and assumes attendance of MENOG
and other Internet related conferences in the region.
- To actively publicize the meeting and its agenda to potential
attendees, using both personal contacts and social networking.
If you meet the above requirements and are willing to commit your
expertise and energy to the work of the MENOG 24 PC, please send an
email and tell us about yourself and your motivation to: <menog at ripe.net>
Please do this no later than 1 Sep 2024.
