<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The MENOG Programme Committee (PC) is seeking submissions for network operators and researchers in the Middle East to
<b>give a technical presentation during the Plenary</b>.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Submission topics include:</span></b></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Please note that marketing/commercial content will not be considered. The presenter should come from a technical background, not sales or marketing.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:13.5pt; font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Guidelines for Submissions</span></b></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">When considering a presentation, remember that the MENOG audience is mainly comprised of technical network operators and engineers with varying experience levels.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Plenary presentations should address issues that ISPs and network operators could face over the next 12-18 months in their day-to-day operations.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Plenary presenters should plan for a 20-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A period.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:13.5pt; font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Notification of Accepted Presentations</span></b></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The MENOG PC will confirm whether your presentation proposal is accepted by 15 March 2018. Late submissions that are exceptionally timely or of critical operational importance
will be considered on a case-by-case basis.</span></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><b><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:13.5pt; font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Funding and Support</span></b></p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">MENOG is a not-for-profit event that aims to keep the cost of attending as low as possible for attendees. For this reason, MENOG is unable to subsidise the cost of travel
for speakers.</span></p>
