Hyperlocal root service is an approach to make root zone content more available to resolvers by making its content local, one approach of which is described in “Running a Root Server Local to a Resolver,” RFC 8806.<o:p></o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-left:36.0pt;text-align:justify'><i><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></i></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-left:36.0pt;text-align:justify'><i><span lang=EN-US>This technical analysis is laid out in several sections that signify the key differences between the current root server system (RSS) and a hyperlocal root zone deployment.
