Steve, All,

 

Speaking in my capacity as a member of the Arab IGF MAG, while the Arab IGF is an open fora for anyone interested in Arab IG issues and debates, the term “Arab” covers the 22 Arab states. While Iran is part of West Asia, it is not considered one of the 22 Arab states.

 

On the issues related to RIPE NCC and MENOG, I am sure others can cover.

Hi,

 I had this also. 

 

Could someone clarify what the affiliation to MENOG and RIPE is and what the function is? I assume there is some difference from Arab IGF needing a separate Persian IGF? (The website suggests the focus only covers Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan)
