[menog] FW: Salam Yamout for RIPE NCC Executive Board

Dear Salam,
 may I ask, what are the particular policies and ideas that you will be
representing if elected to the RIPE board?

Do you feel RIPE is spending too little/too much/enough resources in the
Middle East? Would you wish to change anything with RIPE / MENOG in this
area?

Do you have any opinion on the PersianIGF which we recently saw created? Do
you think its useful to create smaller focus groups to raise alternative
ideas, or better to keep a larger group which can carry more weight when
bringing ideas to RIPE, ICANN, ITU etc?

And, how do you see the position and roles evolving of MENOG and RIPE in
relation/contrast to the various IGFs, ITU and WCIT?
