Mohammed,

Ahmed just likes to complain :) Ignore him. But what is your take on
Abuse@ emails addresses (original thread)? Do you feel ISPs in the
region are actively monitoring and pro-actively responding to those
emails or are they 'full/no reply'?

Fahad.

There are already other giant ISP's such as in USA, Europe, etc. took an action on blocking port 25 for residential users. Why residential users ( Public Users [dynamic IP addresses]) ? Due to dynamic IP addresses i.e. you don't have a control over. For example, today you are using an IP address A, tomorrow someone else will be getting an IP address A and so on. For those having static IP address, Batelco will inform the users to clean the spam at their end. Myself, I received a couple complains from our customers such as universities having static IP addresses which they have spam on port 25, Batelco took step by step with these customers till they clean spam at their end and then port 25 been released. We do care of our customer and maintain very high quality. With respect to My friend Fahad, daily we are receiving lots of the customers who had a services with other operators are migrating and registering with our company Batelco because of our high standard services quality and competitive prices in the market. We do especial care to our customers, I am sure if you compare the no. of users of other operators to Batelco are nothing and also we do maintain other operators ISP users, too. There are no operators without any mistake and also customer varies from one to another opinion.
